DAY 1: NAIROBI
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the City Hotel. Dinner and overnight at Silver Springs Hotel or similar.
DAY 2: NAIROBI - TARANGIRE
Connect with your flight to Kilimanjaro airport, near Arusha. On arrival met by our Tanzania representatives and drive to Tarangire National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Tarangire National Park has some of the highest population density of elephants anywhere in Tanzania, and its sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, makes it a beautiful and special location. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Serena Lodge or similar.
DAY 3: TARANGIRE - SERENGETI
After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti's far-reaching plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. After lunch at the lodge, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge or similar
DAY 4: SERENGETI
Enjoy an early morning balloon flight, followed by a 'bubbly' bush breakfast (optional extra), or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Free time at the lodge until your late afternoon game drive. Meals and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge or similar.
DAY 5: SERENGETI - NGORONGORO
Early morning game drive. A brief visit to Olduvai Gorge which is often referred to as 'The Cradle of Mankind' and is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world. Continue to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (200 km). After lunch, descend into the Crater floor for a half day Crater Tour. Ngorongoro has a great number of plains game. Return to the lodge in the late evening. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or similar.
DAY 6: NGORONGORO - ARUSHA - NAIROBI. After breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch at Impala Hotel. Then transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport to connect your flight to Nairobi for onward connection of your flight back home.
